On Friday, minimum temperatures in Bulgaria will range from 15°C to 20°C, with 16°C expected in Sofia. During the day, the cloud cover will remain significant over the southwestern regions, where there will be intermittent rain in places. In the afternoon, thunderstorms are also expected in the mountains. Elsewhere, the morning will be mostly sunny, with partly cloudy skies around and after noon.
Maximum temperatures will range from 26°C to 31°C, around 27°C in the capital.
Along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, skies will be partly cloudy, becoming more often heavily clouded. Light rain is possible in places, mainly along the northern coast. It will remain windy, with moderate and temporarily strong northeasterly winds. Compared with previous days, the weather will be cooler. Maximum air temperatures will range from 24°C to 27°C. Sea temperatures will be around 25–26°C. Sea conditions will be rough, with waves reaching 3-4 on the Beaufort scale.
In the mountains, the cloud cover will be considerable. Intermittent rain is expected mainly in the Rila-Rhodope region and the Sredna Gora mountains, with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Moderate and temporarily strong northeasterly winds will continue. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 20°C, while at 2,000 metres it will be around 12°C.
On Saturday, the chance of rain will be low. Western Bulgaria will be sunny, while central and eastern parts of the country will see temporary increases in cloud cover.
