Nearly
80% of drivers in the
country use mobile devices while driving. This is shown by a study by
the Road Safety Institute, presented by the chairman of the
institute, Bogdan Milchev, to Nova TV.
According
to experts, the more often such behavior remains without
consequences, the greater the likelihood that drivers will repeat it.
According to data from the police,
since the beginning of the year, about 6,000 violators have been
identified.
However, the real number is much higher, Milchev claims. "A
driver who drives and uses a mobile phone incorrectly definitely
increases the risk of traffic accidents," police inspector Ivo
Bikov told
media.
