Pirin Galov has won a silver medal from one of the most grueling mountain ultramarathons in the world - "Ticino" in Switzerland, BNR "Horizont" reported. The Bulgarian started at 9:00 local time on August 8 and managed to cover the 500-kilometer route with 40,000 meters of climbing in less than 8 days. His exact time is 181 hours and 33 minutes. He finished late on Saturday to the applause of the audience. A representative of the host country was first. 52-year-old Pirin Galov is a multiple winner of a number of international ultra-long-distance competitions in the mountains and is popular in running circles for his endurance.
