The city of Ruse will once again host the largest tourist rowing regatta in Europe and the world. The participants in the 69th edition of Tour International Danubien (TID) will arrive on Tuesday, August 18, on the shore next to the Yacht Club Port Rousse. This was announced by the Ruse Municipality on Facebook.
Nearly
100 boats from eight countries are expected to arrive - Germany, UK,
Croatia, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria
and Bulgaria. There are about 80 Bulgarians.
The
rowers will be officially welcomed at 7 p.m. by representatives of
the Ruse Municipality and Tourist Society Prista.
