Hot weather with temperature reaching up to 36°C

During the next 24 hours, due to the passage of a cold atmospheric front and its withdrawal to the east, there will be variable cloudiness and in places in the southern and northeastern regions it will rain. Later in the day, the cloudiness over almost the entire country will decrease to sunny weather. There will be weak to moderate wind from the west-northwest. The highest temperatures will be between 31° and 36°C, slightly lower along the sea coast; in Sofia - around 31°C.

At the Black Sea coast, there will be more significant cloudiness before noon and it will be sunny in the afternoon. In some places, mainly along the southern part of the coast, there will be rainfall. The highest temperatures will be 27°-29°C and sea water temperature is 24°-25°C.

In the mountains, there will be more significant cloudiness before noon. In the afternoon there will be more clouds over the Rila-Rhodope region. There will be rainfall in places, mainly in the Rhodopes. The wind will be moderate to strong from the northwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 m will be about 25°C; at 2000 m - about 18°C.
