Andriyan Poplavov is the world vice-champion in MMA for boys under 12

Andriyan Poplavov became the world vice-champion in MMA for boys under 12 years old in the 27 kg category. He achieved four convincing victories over representatives of Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, England and Wales and earned his place in the battle for the world title. In the final, he lost on points and won the silver medal, the Bulgarian MMA Federation announced on Facebook. This is the second medal for Andriyan Poplavov from a major international championship in 2026. In February, he won a bronze medal at the European Championship in Belgrade.
