Rumen Radev: Fewer deliberate fires this summer

For the first time in many years, we have five helicopters and crews ready to extinguish fires, as well as Spartan aircraft, which will be used in any further necessary operations. This was stated by Prime Minister Rumen Radev at the beginning of the government meeting.

The Prime Minister added that this year, fires caused intentionally and due to negligence are fewer. According to him, this means that our society is increasingly aware of its duty to protect nature and property. “Despite record-high temperatures and prolonged drought, there have been no devastating fires in Bulgaria so far,” Rumen Radev pointed out.
