The Ministry of Interior is preparing a completely new law to counter antisocial behaviour of minors. The ambition is to propose a draft of a modern regulatory act that would ensure effective prevention when working with children. This was announced by Minister of Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev during the presentation of the measures that the institutions have taken against aggression and radicalization among adolescents.

He said that the actions taken so far have been rather formal, without achieving any real results, the press service of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior reports. Regarding requests to restrict access of minors to social networks, Demerdzhiev pointed out that such a measure would be difficult to implement. Therefore, the efforts of the Ministry of Interior at this stage are aimed at increased control and prevention. A campaign "Violence is Powerlessness" is planned for the next school year, which will cover at least 100,000 students in over 1,000 schools in the country.
