The development of an electronic information portal for Bulgarians abroad who choose to return to their homeland was a key focus of a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Hristo Dikanski and Raina Mandzhukova, director of the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad.

The portal will bring together practical and useful information on education, healthcare, administrative services, and career opportunities in Bulgaria. “It will put the voices of Bulgarians around the world at the center and provide practical solutions, important information, and support for our compatriots who choose to return to Bulgaria”, Raina Mandzhukova said.

For his part, Hristo Dikanski supported the idea of organizing a large-scale gathering titled “Bulgarian Artists Abroad” — an initiative that could not take place this year due to a lack of funding.

The meeting also covered the procedure for certifying the Bulgarian origin of foreign nationals applying for residency in Bulgaria, as well as the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad’s strategic priority of establishing a fairer model for access to higher education in Bulgaria for children and young people.
