Ivo Hristov noted that the 2026 state budget allocates EUR 20 million for Eurovision, of which EUR 15 million is the guarantee that must be deposited before the organizational process begins, while the remainder will cover ongoing expenses. According to the deputy prime minister, the funding will cover organizational needs related to infrastructure, transportation, accommodation, and branding Bulgaria as a tourist destination.

- Bulgaria's coastal city Burgas will host Eurovision 2027
Preparations in Burgas for Eurovision 2027 are already underway. Burgas Airport has declared its readiness to handle the expected increase in passenger traffic around the event, while architect Ivaylo Petkov confirmed that Arena Burgas has the capacity and functionality required to host the contest. The Commission for Consumer Protection will also take part in the preparations, carrying out checks on accommodation and service prices in Burgas ahead of Eurovision, following reports of listings with exorbitant prices on accommodation platforms.
