Bulgaria reaches badminton European championship quarterfinals

Bulgaria secured a third consecutive victory and advanced to the quarterfinals of the European U19 Mixed Team Badminton Championships in Tatabánya, Hungary, the Bulgarian Badminton Federation said on its Facebook page. The Bulgarian team, coached by Ivan Rusev and Iliyan Krastev, defeated Poland 2–1 to finish top of Group A2.

In their first two matches, the Bulgarian players beat Portugal and Finland 2–0. The quarterfinal draw will take place later today.
