Temperatures remain high, rain showers expected in the western regions

On Saturday it will be sunny and hot. Low cloud cover in the eastern regions of Bulgaria will quickly decrease and visibility will improve. In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will form over the mountains in Western Bulgaria and there will be short-term rainfall in some places. There will be a light wind from the east; in the western regions – moderate from the northwest. The prevailing maximum temperatures will be between 34° and 39°C, lower along the sea coast; in Sofia – around 35°C.

It will be sunny in the mountains. In the afternoon cumulus clouds will develop over the massifs in Western Bulgaria and there will be short-term rain in places. There will be light northwesterly wind. The highest temperature at an altitude of 1200 m will be around 30°; at 2000 m – around 21°C.

It will be mostly sunny along the Black Sea coast. In the morning hours there will be low cloud cover and reduced visibility. There will be light easterly wind. The highest temperatures will reach 26°-29°C and sea water temperature is 24°-25°C.
