Sofia-Yerevan direct airline to be restored in November

From November 7, 2026, the direct Sofia-Yerevan-Sofia airline will be restored. This was announced on its Facebook page by the Embassy of Bulgaria in Armenia.

"The opening of the line is the result of the efforts of Ambassador Nikola Nikolov and the exceptional assistance of Captain Yanko Ivanov, representing GullivAir airline," the Bulgarian embassy in Yerevan emphasizes.

The restoration of the direct Sofia-Yerevan-Sofia air connection provides new opportunities for direct contacts between the citizens of Bulgaria and Armenia, as well as for the development of bilateral cooperation in the fields of business, culture, sports, tourism and a number of other initiatives and projects of mutual interest.
