Motorists are facing heavy traffic at two of Bulgaria’s main border crossings, the Border Police said.
At Kapitan Andreevo on the border with Türkiye, traffic is heavy for cars in both directions and for lorries leaving Bulgaria. Kalotina, on the Serbian border, is also busy, with heavy car traffic both entering and leaving the country.
Elsewhere, crossings with Romania, Greece and North Macedonia are operating normally.
Ferry services across the Danube, however, remain suspended on the Oryahovo–Bechet, Silistra–Chiciu and Svishtov–Zimnicea routes because of low river levels.
