Bulgarian Tourist Union launches all-in-one travel app

The Bulgarian Tourist Union has launched a mobile app bringing together tourist information for destinations across the country, the organisation’s chairman Ventsislav Venev said.

The app, Bulgaria 100, includes maps and suggested routes, with navigation and information on local events, places to stay and sites of cultural, historical or natural interest.

“You can find places to stay, interesting events and places to visit – historical, natural and cultural. The navigation can take you wherever you want to go, and if you get stranded or lost, it can guide you to a familiar place, take you home or return you to your starting point,” Venev said.

The free app also provides weather forecasts and information about places of interest near the user’s current location.
