Andrey Gyurov to announce presidential bid tomorrow

Former caretaker prime minister Andrey Gyurov, who is expected to receive the backing of right-wing parties, will announce his candidacy for president tomorrow. 

His candidacy is expected to be put forward by an initiative committee, which is also expected to announce former Interior Ministry Chief Secretary Georgi Kandev as his vice-presidential running mate.

Democratic Bulgaria and We Continue the Change have so far expressed support for the prospective presidential ticket.
