“Primer Books of Generations of Bulgarians” exhibition visits Varna

The “Primer Books of Generations of Bulgarians” exhibition will be on display in Varna until September 15, ahead of the start of the new school year, Prosveta Publishing Group announced.

The open-air exhibition is located in the Sea Garden and admission is free. It features 13 primers for general education schools, published by Prosveta from its founding in 1945 to the present day, tracing changes in their content, illustrations, and graphic design over the years.

The project was created by Svoboda Tsekova and Anton Staykov, authors of the book “The Bulgarian Primer: 200 Years in First Grade”, which received the Golden Lion award.

Before arriving in Varna, the exhibition was presented in Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas and Ruse.
