Gabriela Petrova wins women's triple jump at World Athletics Tour Bronze event

Gabriela Petrova won the women’s triple jump at the World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze meeting in Belgrade, Serbia, the Bulgarian Athletics Federation reported. The Bulgarian national team athlete jumped 14.10 metres on her third attempt, which was enough to secure victory.

Ruth Hildebrand of Germany finished second with 14.00 metres, while her compatriot Caroline Joyeux took third place with 13.79 metres.

With her victory in the Serbian capital, Gabriela Petrova continued her strong season, adding another win to her record. In July, she claimed the women’s triple jump title at the Bulgarian Athletics Championships with a mark of 14.37 metres.
