Bulgaria Today podcast - 3 September 2026

In Bulgaria Today on Thursday, 3 September:

We begin with the latest news from across Bulgaria, followed by tomorrow's weather forecast.

Then we meet Michael Andersson, a Swedish radio enthusiast who picked up Radio Varna’s signal in Sweden years ago. That distant signal eventually brought him to the station in person – hear his story in an interview with our colleague Martin Nikolov.

Our musical finale is “Variations 2024 for Piano and Big Band on Paganini’s Caprice No. 24” by Lyubomir Denev, performed by the BNR Big Band.
