Bulgarian horo to mark 10 years of Folk Dance Formation ''Bulgaria'' Midlands

Folk Dance Formation ''Bulgaria'' Midlands will celebrate its 10th anniversary on October 11 in Derby, the formation announced on Facebook. The 10th anniversary edition of “Midlands Sings and Dances”, will bring together current and former dancers, as well as friends and fans of Bulgarian folklore. Guests will have the opportunity to take part in a program featuring traditional Bulgarian dances and musical performances. A competition for the most delicious homemade pita bread will also be held.

Weather permitting, the celebration will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a large outdoor horo, which will be filmed by drone, followed by the indoor program at 6:30 p.m. The event is organized by the Bulgarian Cultural Community UK under the motto “10 Years Dancing to the Rhythm of Bulgaria.”
