We Continue the Change proposes total ban on gambling advertising

MPs from We Continue the Change are proposing a total ban on gambling advertising in public spaces and the media. The proposal is contained in a bill submitted to Parliament, BNR reporter Marta Mladenova informed.

The only exceptions would be broadcasts of Bulgarian Sports Totalizator draws, limited-size advertisements on the facades of gambling establishments, and logos no larger than 10 by 10 cm on sports uniforms for adults.

The bill proposes a total ban on gambling advertising on television, radio, in print, online and on social media, as well as on all outdoor advertising facilities, including billboards, public transport stops, building facades, electronic displays and vehicles.
