Heavy truck traffic towards Türkiye

Border Police report heavy traffic to and from Türkiye at the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing. On September 10, truck traffic towards Türkiye was also heavy at the Lesovo border crossing. Traffic is normal at all crossings on the borders with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Romania.

One person died and 31 others were injured in 30 accidents across the country over the past 24 hours, the Traffic Police reported. Since the beginning of September, there have been 208 major road accidents in the country, resulting in 11 fatalities and 258 injuries. Since the start of the year, there have been 4,699 serious road accidents, that claimed 324 lives and left 5,834 people injured.
