Government delegation in Beijing discusses attracting Chinese investments

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Alexander Poulev has met with Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang in Beijing, the Ministry of Economy’s press office reports. The two discussed deepening economic cooperation and attracting new Chinese investments to Bulgaria.

Poulev pointed out Bulgaria's political will for a new stage in relations with China. He noted that there were favourable conditions for new initiatives and the expansion of cooperation. Topics of discussion included investments in the automotive industry, the energy sector, high technology, and decarbonization, the press office reported.

Ding Xuexiang described the present moment as an excellent opportunity for mutually beneficial cooperation and highlighted Bulgaria's role as a key partner for China in Southeast Europe.
