Weather remains warm at the end of the workweek

On Friday, the lowest temperatures will range from 13°C to 17°C, around 15°C in Sofia. In the morning, some eastern areas will see low cloud cover, but it will quickly break up and clear. The day will be mostly sunny and hot in the afternoon. After midday, cumulus clouds will develop over Western Bulgaria, but no rainfall is expected. Winds will be light to moderate from the south-southeast. Maximum temperatures will range from 31°C to 36°C, around 31°C in the capital city.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be mostly sunny, although some areas will see low stratiform clouds in the morning. There will be a moderate east-southeastery wind. Daytime highs will range from 26°C to 28°C. The seawater temperatures is 24–25°C. Sea state 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.

It will be mostly sunny in the mountains. In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop over the western part of the Balkan Mountains, and by evening, over the mountain ranges of southwestern Bulgaria as well, but there will be no rainfall. Winds will be light to moderate from the east-southeast, shifting to the southwest by evening. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 25°C, at 2,000 metres around 18°C.
