“Democratic Bulgaria” (DB) is seeking a parliamentary hearing with Prime Minister Rumen Radev on the state and effectiveness of the national security system and the ability of the competent authorities to identify, prevent and counter growing subversive and hybrid activities of foreign state structures in Bulgaria, as well as other threats to national security, the party’s press office said.

The request follows the latest explosion at an EMKO ammunition warehouse near Dryanovo, just one month after an explosion and fire at another company facility near Belitsa, in the municipality of Tryavna, the lawmakers behind the request said, reported BGNES.
