Bulgaria's Gabrovo will host World Forum on Crafts and Folk Art

Bulgaria's Gabrovo will become an international hub of creative thinking, humour and human skills from September 16 to 20, 2026. During these days, the city will host the Annual Meeting of the Crafts and Folk Art Sub-Network of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, Gabrovo Municipality reports.
The event will bring together representatives of dozens of cities from around the world working to promote culture as a driver of sustainable and peaceful societies.
The Crafts and Folk Art sub-network currently comprises 80 cities from 55 countries. Their representatives will gather in Gabrovo to exchange experience, ideas and good practices in the fields of culture and traditional crafts and arts. The theme of the meeting is “Crafting Human Creativity for a Peaceful World”. It will highlight the power of human creativity in an era of technological change and global challenges.
