A protest in the so-called "Triangle of Power", located between the Parliament, Government, and Presidency buildings, blocked traffic in the capital's center at Independence Square for two hours, BTA reports. The protesters demanded the government's resignation, citing reasons such as the budget deficit, the accumulation of new foreign debt, persistent corruption, insufficient action against organized crime, and unchecked youth violence.

The business climate for Bulgarians is poor due to the cabinet of Radev, protest organizer Manol Glishev said. Many foreign companies are leaving and property taxes are set to rise by 100%, Glishev added, accusing the government of having "Russian ties."
