The Bulgarian Air Force has issued a warning regarding large danger zones due to live-fire exercises targeting aerial targets in the northern Bulgarian sector of the Black Sea.

"From September 16 to 18, 2026, Air Force crews will conduct flights involving live-fire engagements against aerial targets at the Shabla anti-aircraft training range," an official statement reads.

"The Air Force Command announces the activation of danger zones in the airspace above the range and the adjacent waters and territorial sea - bounded by Cape Kaliakra, Cape Kartalburun, and a line running parallel to the coastline at a distance of 100 km - on September 16 and 17 (from 11:00 to 18:00 and 20:00 to 02:00 local time) and on September 18 (from 11:00 to 18:00)," the Air Force specified.
