The "Facade Video Festival" is transforming the Lapidarium in Plovdiv’s Old Town into a storytelling screen, according to the organizers from the Art Today Association. During the event, taking place on September 18 and 19 at 8:30 PM, 31 video works from 14 countries will be screened outdoors.
The
Facade Video Festival brings together the richness of contemporary
video art, ranging from experimental and visually bold pieces to
films exploring humanity, technology, nature, and the world we
inhabit, the organizers say. While the themes, languages, and
approaches vary, the works share common traits: high quality and a
powerful visual impact, BTA reports.
The
project is funded by the Municipality of Plovdiv, and admission to
the events is free.
