Autumn arrives on Independence Day with cooler temperatures and rainfall

On Tuesday, morning lows will range from 11°C to 16°C; in Sofia - about 12°C. Daytime cloud cover will be variable, often significant. Rain is expected in some areas of the mountains, as well as in the western and northern regions. The highest temperature will be between 17°C to 22°C. In Sofia it will be about 17°C.

It will be windy along the Black Sea coast. Rainfall is expected north of Cape Emine. Maximum air temperature will range from 19°C to 22°C, with sea water temperatures at 22–23°C.

Cloud cover will be significant in the mountains. Rain is expected in the Rila-Rhodope region and the Balkan Mountain. Snow will fall at altitudes above 2,200 meters. There will be strong northwesterly wind. Maximum temperatures will be around 12°C at an altitude of 1,200 meters and around 4°C at 2,000 meters.
