Border Police report heavy traffic of trucks exiting towards Türkiye at the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo border checkpoints. Traffic is flowing normally at all other Bulgarian border crossings with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania on Wednesday morning.
On
September 23, traffic will be temporarily altered at the 6th
kilometer of the road from Blagoevgrad to the Stanke Lisichkovo
border crossing, near the village of Selishte, the Road
Infrastructure Agency announced. Between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.,
traffic will be restricted to one lane and regulated by flaggers due
to the repair of toll cameras. From 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., a camera
near Kocherinovo (Kyustendil region) will be replaced and traffic
will also be restricted in stages.
