‘Perseids’ – a song about love that leaves a bright trace

Robi and duo Molec, two of the most talked-about names in contemporary Bulgarian pop, continue their creative partnership with “Perseids”. The song, from Robi’s latest album “Trace”, is about a love in which beauty and pain go hand in hand. Its title refers to the Perseid meteor shower, which briefly streaks across the summer sky each year.

Director Chris Zahariev takes the story into a fairytale cosmic world inspired by the poetry of “The Little Prince”. The video was shot entirely against a green screen, with the settings and effects created by VFX artist Niya Batanova without the use of artificial intelligence.

“Perseids”, along with other songs from “Trace”, featured in the September dates of Robi’s summer tour. His next challenge is a concert at Hall 1 of Sofia’s National Palace of Culture on October 13, which is already sold out.
