Truck traffic towards Türkiye is intense at the end of the week

Border Police report heavy truck traffic exiting the country towards Türkiye at the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo border crossings. Traffic is flowing normally at all other border crossings with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Romania.

On the Maritsa Motorway, between the 109th and 111th kilometers in the direction of Kapitan Andreevo, traffic is restricted to a single lane due to repairs on the expansion joints of a bridge and an agricultural underpass. The speed limit is set at 50 km/h.

The Road Infrastructure Agency reminds motorists that traffic is restricted to a single lane on the Vratsa–Mezdra road due to ongoing repairs.
