Cloudy and rainy Saturday, drier on Sunday

On Saturday, lows will range from 7°C to 12°C, reaching 16°C along the Black Sea coast and around 8°C in Sofia. It will be cloudy, with rain in eastern and southern Bulgaria. North-northeasterly winds will be moderate, temporarily strong in the far east. Highs will range from 17°C to 22°C, with around 17°C in Sofia.

Along the Black Sea coast, skies will remain mostly cloudy, with rain in places and moderate to temporarily strong north-northeasterly winds. Air and sea temperatures will both be 21–23°C, with waves of 3–4 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains, it will be cloudy, with the higher peaks shrouded in cloud. Rain will fall mainly over the ranges of eastern Bulgaria, turning to snow above 2,000 metres. Moderate to temporarily strong east-northeasterly winds will blow. Temperatures will reach around 12°C at 1,200 metres and 4°C at 2,000 metres.

On Sunday, the rain will stop across most of the country and the cloud will begin to break. Eastern and mountain areas will remain cloudier, with isolated light rain. Light to moderate northeasterly winds will continue, with little change in temperatures.
