Cloudy weather with rain mainly in Southern Bulgaria

On Tuesday, the lowest temperatures will range from 8°C to 13°C, around 8°C in Sofia. During the night, cloud cover will continue to increase and thicken from the east, with mostly cloudy skies over Central and Eastern Bulgaria. Light rain will fall in some areas. During the day, cloud cover will also increase and thicken over Western Bulgaria, although the far northwest will remain mostly sunny. Rain will occur mainly across Southeastern Bulgaria. Winds will be moderate, temporarily strong in the eastern regions, from the north-northeast. Maximum temperatures will range from 18°C to 23°C, around 18°C in the capital city.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be cloudy with showers, more widespread in the south. Daytime highs will range from 19°C to 22°C. The seawater temperature is 21–22°C. Sea sate 4 on the Beaufort scale.

Cloudy weather will prevail in the mountains, with the highest peaks remaining shrouded in cloud. Light rain is expected in places, turning to snow above 2,000 metres. Winds will be moderate from the north-northeast and temporarily strong. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 11°C, at 2,000 metres around 5°C.

On Wednesday, it will be mostly cloudy across the country. Light rain will fall in places in Eastern Bulgaria and the mountains, with snow above 2,000 metres. Moderate north-northeasterly winds will continue, becoming temporarily strong in the eastern parts of the country. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged.
