Sofia hosts conference on refugees and asylum seekers

A research and practice conference, “Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Bulgaria”, is taking place today, September 29, at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia. The forum is organised by the National Network for Children, the State Agency for Refugees under the Council of Ministers and UNWE.

During the session “From Research to Practice: Project Presentations”, participants will present research findings and practical experience related to attitudes towards refugees and asylum seekers in Bulgaria. The forum aims to identify ways of creating a more supportive environment for people seeking protection and a stronger system for protecting unaccompanied children.
