Margarita Hranova leaves “Imprint” in Bulgarian music’s treasure trove

Margarita Hranova, whose unique voice has left an indelible mark on generations of Bulgarian music fans, presents her new song, ''Otpechatuk'' (Imprint). The music was composed by Bilyana Angelova, who has created some of the singer’s most tender and heartfelt new songs:

''Bilyana’s songs are both melodic and musically unconventional. I constantly challenge myself—even when I’m offered something that isn’t quite my style, I try to make it my own, and I think it works.''

Bilyana usually writes the lyrics to her songs herself. This time, however, the lyrics were penned by Aleksandar Pergelov, while Alex Nushev created the arrangement. She has written a number of contemporary hits for various performers (such as “Navisoko” by Miro and Koina Ruseva), but admits that her creative partnership with Margarita Hranova is her favorite:

''Margi has been my favorite person and voice since my school days. She is my lucky charm, and ever since I met her, my life has moved in the right direction. The most beautiful, genuine, happy, and profound collaboration I’ve ever had has been with Margi. With her, the result always exceeds my expectations of coming close to that beauty I had envisioned beforehand for each song'', said Bilyana Angelova.
