Traffic is heavy for outbound trucks heading to Türkiye at the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo border checkpoints, the Border Police report. Traffic is normal at all other border checkpoints and crossings with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania. Ferry services at the Oryahovo–Bechet and Svishtov–Zimnicea border crossings have been temporarily suspended due to low water levels on the Danube, the Border Police said.

From September 29 to October 1, traffic arrangements will change at kilometer 397 of the Sofia–Kulata road in Blagoevgrad District due to the installation of a newly constructed bridge forming part of the bypass of the town of Kresna, the Road Infrastructure Agency said. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., traffic in the Kulata-bound lane will be restricted in stages across five intervals, each lasting approximately 30 minutes. Traffic will be allowed to move in both directions in the Sofia-bound lane.
