The renowned composer’s granddaughter, Lilia Goleminova, said the award was presented to the BNR Symphony Orchestra for the mark it has left on Bulgarian history by recording Bulgarian music. She added that, for the third consecutive season, every concert by the Symphony Orchestra has featured a Bulgarian work. Goleminova told the audience that there had never been a year with so much debate before the winners were selected in both the main category and the accompanying category, BTA reported.
