Cyprus to open honorary consulate in Bulgaria's Plovdiv

The Bulgarian Council of Ministers has approved the opening of an honorary consulate of Cyprus in Plovdiv, with a consular district covering the regions of Plovdiv and Stara Zagora.

Entrepreneur Boris Gyurov, who has experience in international relations, investment, consultancy and education, will serve as honorary consul.

The new consulate is expected to promote trade and economic, cultural and educational ties between Bulgaria and Cyprus.
