Virtuosos Thu Le and Samuel Solomon open GuitArt Festival in Plovdiv

From 1 to 4 October 2026, Plovdiv will once again become a hub for guitar music as the GuitArt Festival celebrates its tenth edition. The festival brings together established international performers and Bulgarian musicians from different genres and generations.

The four-day programme features concerts, multimedia performances, masterclasses, workshops, an international classical guitar competition and meetings with luthiers.

The festival opens with internationally acclaimed Vietnamese classical guitarist Thu Le and Bulgarian guitarist and teacher Samuel Solomon. Thu Le is known for the virtuosity and emotional depth of her performances, while Solomon is an active performer on the international concert scene. Together, they will bring their different musical perspectives to the stage.

The opening concert takes place at Radio Plovdiv’s Studio One at 7 pm.
