Ruse will host the second Urban Wine Fest on 2 and 3 October at the city’s Svoboda Square.
The festival marks the start of a month dedicated to Bulgarian wine, culminating in International Mavrud Day on 26 October. Organised by the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals, it is part of a nationwide series of events celebrating Bulgarian wine. The festival is supported by the Ministries of Tourism and Agriculture and Food, in partnership with Ruse Municipality.
Visitors will be invited to find their own “message in a bottle” among a selection of more than 40 Bulgarian wines from small producers, made from 15 indigenous grape varieties.
