India and Bulgaria have called for the early implementation of the India-EU free trade agreement, emphasising that the pact will play a crucial role in significantly boosting economic and commercial engagement between the two nations, India’s Ministry of External Affairs said, as quoted by The Economic Times.
During consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, co-chaired by Sibi George, Secretary (West) at India’s Ministry of External Affairs, and Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Christo Polendakov, the two sides conducted a comprehensive review of bilateral relations. The focus was on defense, artificial intelligence, trade, space exploration, science and technology. They also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
India and Bulgaria underscored their shared commitment to turning their long-standing friendship into a modern, forward-looking partnership, reports BGNES.
