More than 58% of Bulgarians say the war in Ukraine has no military solution

High prices and inflation are cited as the most serious problem facing the country by 53.7% of respondents in a representative poll conducted by Sova Harris. The survey was commissioned by the newspaper Trud and was carried out between September 23 and 28.
34.8% of respondents said that Prime Minister Rumen Radev’s cabinet is handling the country’s governance rather successfully, while 44.6% rate the government’s performance as rather successful. Another 20.6% were undecided.
58.4% of respondents agreed with Prime Minister Radev that the war in Ukraine cannot have a successful military solution and that EU leaders should establish diplomatic contacts with Russia. Some 18% disagreed, while 23.6% were undecided. Meanwhile, 46.5% of respondents believe Ukraine should make peace with Russia by agreeing to territorial concessions. 26.1% hold the opposite view, while 27.4% were undecided, the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reports.
