Cool mornings, warm weather during the day, sunny on Sunday

On Saturday, minimum temperatures will range from 1°C in the valleys to 13°C in the southeast. In Sofia, temperatures are expected to be around 2°C. Before noon, there will be extensive low cloud cover over eastern Bulgaria, with fog in some areas. During the day, it will be mostly sunny, with temporary increases in cloudiness over the southeastern parts of the country, where isolated brief showers are possible in the Strandzha region. Maximum temperatures will range from 18°C to 23°C, with around 19°C expected in the capital.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be mostly sunny with temporary increases in cloudiness, more pronounced along the southern coast, where brief showers are possible mainly before noon. Air temperatures will reach 18°C to 20°C. Sea water temperatures will be 20°C to 21°C. The sea will be rough, with waves reaching 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains, it will be mostly sunny, with temporary increases in cloudiness over the ranges in the southeastern half of the country. Isolated brief showers are possible in the Strandzha region. Strong east-northeasterly winds will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 12°C, and at 2,000 metres, around 5°C.

On Sunday, winds in eastern Bulgaria will also weaken, becoming light to moderate, most often from the east-northeast. It will be mostly sunny. Minimum temperatures in most areas will range from 5°C to 10°C, lower in the valleys of western and central Bulgaria, where frost is possible. Maximum temperatures will rise.

Across the Balkans, it will be mostly sunny over most of the peninsula. In the morning, frost is possible in some valleys. Before noon, there will be considerable cloudiness over the southernmost parts of Greece, with some areas still receiving light precipitation. Warmer air will move in from the west-southwest.

Athens will reach 21°C, Belgrade 25°C, Bucharest up to 21°C, and Istanbul up to 20°C
