Welcome to Bulgaria Today, the English-language podcast of Radio Bulgaria, on October 9 hosted by Rositsa Petkova.
Coming up today: first the leading news stories and the weather for the weekend in Bulgaria.
Later in the programme, we’ll explore how art can help people express their inner worlds, as we visit an exhibition of paintings by patients at Sofia’s Prof. Nikola Shipkovenski Mental Health Centre, marking World Mental Health Day on October 10.
We end with Bulgarian music, featuring the remarkable early orchestral work of composer and pianist Dimitar Nenov in this week’s edition of our running series Highlights of Bulgarian musical culture.
Stay with us for the stories, sounds and people that bring Bulgaria closer to you.
