Council of Ministers: Kyrylo Budanov visited Sofia at his own request

In response to media enquiries, the press office of Bulgaria’s Council of Ministers said that Kyrylo Budanov, chief of staff to the Ukrainian president, had visited Sofia at his own request. The visit was conducted in strict confidentiality for security reasons.

During his meeting with Prime Minister Rumen Radev on 8 October, Budanov presented Ukraine’s views on the prospects for reaching a peaceful settlement to the war in Ukraine.
