Heavy traffic at Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo border crossings

The Border Police report heavy outbound truck traffic at border crossings with Türkiye. Traffic is normal at all border crossings with Romania, Greece, North Macedonia and Serbia. Ferry services operating at the Oryahovo–Bechet and Svishtov–Zimnicea border crossings remain suspended due to low water levels on the Danube. Temporary traffic arrangements are in plce on the Danube Bridge near Ruse due to the installation of drainage facilities.

Two people have died and 22 others have been injured in 15 serious road traffic accidents over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Interior reports. Since the beginning of the month, 387 road accidents have been registered, resulting in 31 fatalities and 484 injuries.
