Kostadinov: Some Vazrazhdane voters to abstain, others to back Iotova

“We categorically do not support Mr Gyurov”, said Vazrazhdane leader and presidential candidate Kostadin Kostadinov, who came third in Sunday’s first round with 12.54% of the vote, or 190,894 votes, BGNES reported.

Kostadin Kostadinov said some Vazrazhdane voters would abstain in the runoff, others would vote “I do not support any candidate”, while a third group would vote for Iliana Iotova. He described Prime Minister Rumen Radev’s statement that the runoff was a choice between peace and war as an insult to the intelligence of Bulgarian citizens. “Foreign policy will not put food on the table for the Bulgarian people”, he added.
