Rain to gradually ease, temperatures to reach 17°C

During the night, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with rain expected in the northern and eastern parts of the country. On October 29, precipitation will gradually stop. Cloud cover will break up and decrease in southwestern Bulgaria and the western part of the Upper Thracian Plain. Winds will be light to moderate, from the west-northwest. In eastern Bulgaria and along the Struma Valley, winds will come from the north. The lowest temperatures will range between 6°C and 11°C, in Sofia around 6°C. Maximum temperatures will be between 12°C and 17°C, in Sofia around 11°C.

In the mountains, the weather will be cloudy. Rain is expected mainly in the Balkan Mountains, Rila, and Pirin, with snow above 2,000 metres. Precipitation will gradually stop in the afternoon. Winds will be moderate to strong, from the north-northeast. The maximum temperature will be around 8°C at an altitude of 1,200 metres and around 3°C at 2,000 metres.
